Family Community Clinic is community-supported and volunteer-driven.

We require your volunteer efforts to improve access to health care for our community. There are many different volunteer positions at the Family Community Clinic. All of them offer an opportunity to (a) apply your skills, (b) cultivate a deeper understanding of a specific patient population, and (c) acquire new competencies essential to the operation of a free clinic. We are always looking for volunteers.

If you would like to volunteer as a Medical Provider (M.D., APRN, D.O.), Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Pediatric Medical Provider (M.D., APRN, D.O.), Nurse (R.N., L.P.N., M.A., C.N.A., EMT), Interpreter or Scribe, please see Volunteer Descriptions for more information. Licenses are required for the Medical and Dental Professionals. Please note that medical support volunteers do not need to have a medical or healthcare background – a broad range of individuals with a wide array of skills serve as volunteers in the Clinic.

Over 300 individuals volunteer their time in two major areas: health care and clinic support. As the Clinic is growing and changing, the number and breadth of volunteer contributions are expanding. To become a part of something bigger, please consider applying for one of the following positions. Our volunteers work from a spirit of compassion, eagerness, learning, and camaraderie. We welcome you!

Medical & Nursing volunteers are covered by the FCC’s Professional Liability policy.
